REVALOR Opens Second Cascade Funding Call for SMEs and Start-ups
REVALOR is pleased to announce the opening of its Second Cascade Funding Call, making available up to €450,000 in sub-grants to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and innovation-stage start-ups that wish to test and deploy bio-based ingredient valorisation technologies at their own facilities.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking organisations that:
- Operate in the agri-food, food processing, cosmetics, or nutraceuticals sectors within an EU member state or associated country.
- Generate significant quantities of organic side streams (fruit pomace, cereal bran, vegetable trimmings, dairy whey, etc.) and wish to valorise them into marketable ingredients.
- Have access to appropriate production infrastructure and can dedicate at least one technical staff member to the pilot activity.
Funding Terms
- Grant size: €30,000–€75,000 per beneficiary (lump sum, no co-financing required)
- Duration: 6–12 months
- Number of awards: Up to 8 grants in this call
- Reporting: A final technical report and open-access data deposit
Application Process
Applications must be submitted through the REVALOR Open Call portal (link available on this site). The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 30 April 2026, with full applications invited by 15 June 2026. Evaluation results will be communicated by 15 July 2026.
